The baleyage technique has been out there for quite a long time. It’s one of the coloring techniques that any London hairdresser should be able to provide. As it got evolved to become a bit more exciting and sophisticated. It’s not only a way to give long hair a natural brightness, but also a perfect one to blend in some crazy colours.
It’s all a matter of our imaginations, we can combine vivid or pastel tone. I’m a fan of pastel accents mixed with blonde or natural colours.
On the video below you can see a colour I’ve done recently in my salon. As my hair salon is located in the City of London I get mostly requests for natural tones so I get excited whenever I can experiment a bit.
To achieve the lilac baleyage effect there are a few steps.
The first one will be to apply a bleach using one of the baleyage techniques. Once I get satisfactory brightness level, I choose the colours. In this case I decided to apply lights ash/beige tone from the roots and purple/lilac tone on the ends.
